Yankee Innkeeper in the Highlands
Jim Anderson at his almost eponymous restaurant,
The Anderson. The former Philadelphia opened the pub, restaurant and small
hotel in early 2003 in the Black Isle metropolis of Fort Rose, about 15
miles north of Inverness. Note the Yuengling poster on the wall. Jim says
the temperate micro-climate (and less expensive housing prices) of Black
Isle has made it a retirement mecca for the English. |
